When life gives you lemons... make lemonade. :)

So the first couple of weeks of college went pretty well. Surprisingly, it went WAY better than I thought. Unfortunately, two weeks later I came down with a nasty cold; (lost voice, horrible cough, runny/stuffy nose, exhaustion... the whole thing.) It was AWFUL. School was really THE LAST thing that I wanted to deal with, but knowing that I couldn't take a break from it, I went, and I hated every single minute. I feel like I didn't learn a single thing, because all I was doing was counting down the minutes until class was over so I could go home. The good news is that I'm FINALLY feeling better. So that made me happy. :)

The bad news is that the Colts lost today. Not such a great start to the season that I was looking forward to. But even worse than that was that the Colts/Texans game was going at at the same time as the Denver/Jacksonville game; living in Utah is such a disadvantage in such instances, because the people at CBS ASSUME that all people in Utah would rather watch the Denver game instead of the Indianapolis game. This is SO not the case. I really dislike Denver, so this was very annoying. On a positive note, thanks to the lightning in Florida... there was a minor delay so I probably watched ten minutes of the game that I wanted. This also made me happy. :)

Before college, I never realized how much I HATE the English language. Seriously, I would MUCH RATHER go to my Spanish class than this dumb English one. The crazy thing about it is that the Spanish class is a much more advanced level than the English one, but I could care less. There is one plus to this situation, but I can't think of it now... Maybe I'll come up with one eventually. ;)

One last thing, I have to write a journal entry for my Spanish class tomorrow. Normally, this wouldn't be a big deal, but I haven't written in Spanish for almost 2 YEARS.... this makes me nervous. But after school tomorrow, it will be the finale of this show:

Yes, it sounds crazy, but this show/The Bachelor(ette) are my guilty pleasures in life. So the finale tomorrow is making me happy. I'm so excited... In case any of you watch, I'm pulling for Kip-Ten. ;) This couple also makes me SO HAPPY.
