Thirty Day Challenge/ General Conference.

So I officially decided to keep this blog as my daily journal.

In seminary we were issued the challenge to keep a journal for at least thirty days, so that's what I decided to do on here, because I can find time to get on the computer, and it doesn't seem like typical "journal writing." :D

So here it goes:

-This weekend has been conference weekend. I love it, like I really do. Not only the advantages of going to church in my pajamas, but the fact that well, I get to hear from some amazing speakers. This weekend, I actually listened to the things that were being said, because honestly, I needed some personal insight, and thought, "Why not?" I actually came to a greater appreciation of the things being said, and the speakers.

-I love President Monson so much. I think he's so inspiring and I love listening to him speak. He always tells amazing stories, and throws in a good couple of laughs along the way. :D I love that every single time he gets up to speak, an overpowering of the spirit comes over me, and I know for a fact that what he says comes from God.

-My favorite talk from the whole weekend would have to be President Eyring's. I loved the way he approached the topic of trials, and enduring them . I loved the things he said about faith through trials, and how they can become a blessing for us if we show faith through them.

Basically conference is the best thing ever. I really do enjoy it. Sure, it's long, but every single thing that is said will affect us in some way, if we look for the way it can apply in our lives. :D
